Half-Off Hanukkah candles are baaaad

We had Hanukkah with Josh and Lori last night and we used the half-off candles that they bought last year. Sometimes you just don't get what you pay for :)
Russ has gotten a lot of coverage for his article on stimulus money for green energy going overseas, even being mentioned in Senator Chuck Schumer's letter to the Secretary of Energy. He was on CNN tonight briefly discussing his article.

not THAT Nathan Lane...
Baby Nathan was born to proud parents Nikki & Dan in the wee hours of the morning on 10/10. Congrats!!
Rob, Robin, Josh, Jay and I went up to the Waterman's cabin up north in T3R4 Maine, on Spring Lake.
We caught some fish
and did some kayaking.
Then we went back to Rob's house in Grey to play with Brianna
and shoot some guns.
All in all a good weekend. Complete set on Flickr.
Sunday afternoon, Matt let Russ, Kate and Me tag along on his sailing race from Baltimore to Annapolis. It was pretty intense and I hurt today...even though I didn't do a lot of work!
Last night we attended a going away party for Melinda and Ryan. Today they are moving to their new home for the next two years, The Island of Terceira, Azores. Even though they are moving out of the country, it's still closer to Baltimore then their previous home in Las Vegas! 
We had some crabs, drinks, snow-cones and a late-nite dip in the pool! Good Luck guys! We hope to visit you soon!
Last weekend, Matt and I were graced with the presence of our beloved Tracey, and her wonderful boyfriend Ben. But where do you take 2 Connecticut-ites? Obviously Hampden, HON!
We also had a mini 'berg reunion at Kathmandu Kitchen (mmm)
And went sailing!
And we finished off the weekend with every Baltimore Tourists must-have, crab cakes from Pappas.
Tracey's friend Shelly joined us for dinner. She was enthralled with the Gurgle Pot :-)

This weekend, the world of comedy lost one of its best, Bea Arthur. I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Bea's one woman show during college. Even with a broken foot, she still had Tracey and I rolling in our seats. Bea, we love ya! We hope you are enjoying some cheesecake with Sophia tonight. Thank you for being OUR friend :-)
Our favorite FLORIDIANS have made the schlep north and moved to Baltimore! In the grand scheme of things, Mr Matt and I are just trying to get all our friends to move with in a 60 mile radius of Towson. These guys from NH to DC. Who is next?? Maybe a certain Philly resident? Or a little lady from Johnstown, PA??
