Happy 4th! (on the 3rd)

Fourth of July Fireworks over Middle River...I'm on a boat!

I'm on a Boat...

...Like a Boss. Enjoy some photos from our Sunday sailing adventure with Lori & Josh!

Screw(pile) you guys, I'm going home

WTKA is very proud of Mr Matt and his Hero Squad racing team for coming in 2nd in the 2009 Screwpile!

Everybody look at me 'cause I'm racing on a boat.

Sunday afternoon, Matt let Russ, Kate and Me tag along on his sailing race from Baltimore to Annapolis. It was pretty intense and I hurt today...even though I didn't do a lot of work!

a tourist in your own town!

Last weekend, Matt and I were graced with the presence of our beloved Tracey, and her wonderful boyfriend Ben. But where do you take 2 Connecticut-ites? Obviously Hampden, HON!

We also had a mini 'berg reunion at Kathmandu Kitchen (mmm)

And went sailing!

And we finished off the weekend with every Baltimore Tourists must-have, crab cakes from Pappas.
Add ImageTracey's friend Shelly joined us for dinner. She was enthralled with the Gurgle Pot :-)

It's a daily paper, HON!

Look who is featured in today's issue of B!

Family Fun Sail!

We took out a Sonar this afternoon. It was a beautiful day for an afternoon sail...when we actually had some wind.

I seem to be on a political button kick this week.

Transpac

In almost every way, Steve Manson finds himself living a storybook life scripted by Disney.

Born and raised in West Baltimore, the 22-year-old sailor is part of the support crew for Morning Light, which will set sail tomorrow in the grueling Transpacific Yacht Race from California to Hawaii aboard a boat financed by Roy Disney.

The 2,225-mile voyage by 11 young sailors, the youngest crew to compete in the race, is being filmed for a documentary to be released next year.
